No. UAE AI Buildathon: Schools Edition is designed for schools as participating institutions, rather than individual competitors.
Schools based in the UAE can apply with interdisciplinary teams focused on solving a real institutional challenge.

Participating school teams will have access to practical preparation sessions led by experienced AI educators and practitioners. The program focuses on accessible AI tools, responsible AI use, challenge definition, practical prototyping, and effective teamwork. Optional expert mentoring and guidance will support teams during the building phase.
The Buildathon follows a short format, including preparation, an intensive 48-hour solution-building window, evaluation, and Demo Day. Before the event, participating educators and school staff will be invited to one or two practical online preparation sessions.
